NUTRITION

Good nutrition is a key part of a happy, healthy, energised life. If we eat well and live well we will feel well. All of us fall into certain habits which we know ourselves need to change. Sometimes it is hard to know where to start and finding the energy, time and motivation all at the same time seems an impossible task

Nutrition combined with lifestyle are the things Jo looks at when involved in doing a Nutrition Consultation. She will examine what you eat and when , how you shop and cook,  and how active, stressful or demanding  your lifestyle is.

Through this process she will advise you on a set of  realistic recommendations to enable you to achieve the goal you want -  more energy, weight loss, better mood, or  increased positivity. She will also be on hand  throughout to offer support and motivation.

Having always had a love of cooking and good food and then having children Jo's interest in how food fundamentally effects
not just your physical health but also your sense of well being and mood grew ever stronger.

She has gained a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Non Medical Nutritional Advice, and has an OCR Level 3 Diploma as a Nutrition and Weight Management Consultant. She has also trained as an NHS Community Health Tutor  and completed a further NHS Food and Health Module.

Jo believes that good food and good health belong to everyone and to this end practices both Pilates Instruction and Nutrition Advice in  various community settings.
